Executive Board

Denise Bozek, M.A.Ed&H.D, CRC is serving as the current President of ALASGW. She is a third year doctoral student in the Counselor Education program at Auburn University and she has her master's in clinical rehabilitation counseling.

Briana Leavigne, MS, ALC is serving as the current President Elect of ALASGW. She is a second year doctoral student in the Counselor Education program at Auburn University and is an Associate Licensed Counselor.

Emma Quadlander, M.S., ALC, NCC is the past President of ALASGW (2021-2022). She is a doctoral candidate in the Counselor Education Program at Auburn University.

Virginia Majors, LPC is serving as the current Treasurer for ALASGW. She works as a counselor in a private practice in Montgomery, AL.

​

Belinda Kock is serving as the current Secretary of ALASGW. She is a trained therapist with my specialty training in Grief Companion Care through the Center for Loss and Life Transition.

Mickey Turner is serving as the current Historian of ALASGW. She is a clinical mental health student at Troy University in Dothan.

​

Caroline Thomas, Ph.D., LPC served as the Treasurer of ALASGW for the last couple of years. She is a past President of ASGW and received the Outstanding Branch Award from ASGW. She has served on leadership for ASGW and ALASGW for about 25 years. We regretfully inform you that she passed away on August 15th, 2022.
